Dr. Abid Shah takes over as DC Pulwama | KNO

Pulwama, February 21 (KNO) : Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah, IAS, took over charge as new Deputy Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama on Thursday. Immediately after assuming the charge, District Development Commissioner had an introductory cum interactive meeting with all District and Sectoral level officers of the district. While addressing the officers, DDC as per KNO reiterated his commitment toward Good Governance. DDC unequivocally said that priority of his administration would be a responsive and accountable administration. He enjoined upon all the officers to work in tandem and play their role in reinforcing the faith of people on Govt Institutions. Calling good governance as a corner stone of public peace and prosperity, he urged upon the participants to work with dedication, commitment and integrity. He stressed upon in bringing qualitative changes in governance and making Govt Institutions visible. Besides, ADC Tral and Awantipora, Joint Director Planning ,all District sectoral officers and other officers ,members of Pulwama Working Journalists Association (PWJA) and other concerned were present on the occasion.(KNO)
